Elks National Foundation
Building Stronger Communities Since 1928
The Elks National Foundation (ENF) is the charitable foundation of the
Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Established in 1928, the Foundation
helps Elks across the country turn charitable giving into programs that
strengthen communities, support veterans, provide educational opportunities
and serve young people.
For the 2026–2027 fiscal year alone, the Elks National Foundation has
budgeted $53.8 million for charitable program services. That includes
$18.8 million for Community Investments Program grants, which
give local Elks Lodges resources to address needs in their own communities.
ENF funding also supports scholarships, veterans programs, the Elks Hoop Shoot,
Drug Awareness programs and grants to State Elks Associations. Since its founding,
the Foundation has contributed more than $500 million to Elks
charitable projects and programs.

Scholarships
ENF supports educational opportunity through national scholarship programs
that help students pursue their goals after high school.
Veterans
Elks National Foundation resources help support programs serving veterans
and honoring the men and women who have served our country.
Youth Programs
ENF helps support nationally recognized Elks youth programs including the
Hoop Shoot and Drug Awareness initiatives.
National Resources. Local Impact.
The strength of the Elks National Foundation is that its impact does not stop at
the national level. Through ENF grants, local Lodges can bring those resources home.
ENF at Work in Bristol
Bristol Lodge #1010 has seen that impact firsthand.
Our Bristol Elks Little Library was built with the help of an Elks
National Foundation grant, creating a lasting community resource that
provides free access to books for local children and families.
And that is what ENF can mean for Bristol: national Elks resources combined
with local volunteers, local knowledge and community partnerships to make
something happen right here at home.
What Could We Do Together?
Bristol Elks #1010 continues to look for opportunities to work with schools,
veterans organizations, nonprofits, civic organizations and other community partners.
Those relationships help us understand the needs of our community—and programs
such as the Elks National Foundation can give us additional resources to help
address them.
Whether you are learning about the Elks, considering membership, or represent an
organization interested in working with us, we invite you to learn more about what
the Elks National Foundation makes possible.
